NINE NEW PRE-SALES SECURED FOR HIT DANCE SHOW

RDF Rights (RDFR), part of the RDF Media Group, has secured nine pre-sales for season 4 of 19 Entertainment/dick clark production’s hit dance show So You Think You Can Dance?, which RDF Rights is launching at MIPCOM. The pre-sales are to TVA in Canada, MBC Middle East, Channel 4 Nelonen Finland, Fox International Channels Italy, Kanal 11 Estonia and Fox Life Channel Poland. Other territories include Asia, South Africa and Turkey.

In addition to the sales of the original US series, three new local versions have also just launched, with impressive ratings. SABC in South Africa achieved an average share of 43% for the first two episodes of its new series; STB in Ukraine won 21.4% share for episode one, beating the Friday average share of 8%; and RTL5 in the Netherlands more than doubled its share to 22.6% for its target audience demographic of 20-34 year-olds.

Local versions of So You Think You Dance have also aired in Australia, Germany, Poland, Malaysia, Israel, Greece, Turkey, Denmark, New Zealand, and Norway among others.

So You Think You Can Dance? is produced by 19 Entertainment & dick clark productions for The Fox Network.
