RDF SIGN TWO TALENT DEVELOPMENT DEALS

RDF Media Group (RDF) is delighted to announce first-look development deals with Reggie Yates and his company, Spray Can Productions Limited, and Stephen Mulhern and his company, Blue Eye Productions Limited.

RDF has signed a two year development deal with both companies giving RDF first refusal on all new ideas generated by Spray Can and Blue Eye Productions.

The deal covers all new ideas to originate from these production companies, whether or not Reggie and Stephen are on-screen talent for the commission. Both Reggie Yates and Stephen Mulhern will be creative consultants on their production’s ideas if commissioned and they would be produced through the most relevant RDF production company for the commission.

Nigel Pickard, Director of RDF Family Entertainment said:

Reggie Yates said:

Stephen Mulhern said:

“I am very excited that Blue Eye Productions is teaming up with RDF who share my passion and enthusiasm to develop new entertainment shows. We have already secured our first joint commission for what I believe will be a great primetime Saturday night show. It's lovely to be working alongside Nigel Pickard and Vanessa Hill again who incidentally gave me my first job in TV for which I will always be truly thankful. Exciting times are ahead”

James Grant management represents both Reggie Yates and Stephen Mulhern. RDF Kids & Family, a division of RDF Rights, will hold all international rights to output created through the new development deals.

Reggie Yates biography:

At only twenty five, Reggie is rapidly establishing himself as one of the most talented and versatile young performers / presenters on British TV. Reggie was a regular face on BBC's Top Of The Pops & has also presented many other shows including the Brits Launch Show, EMA's backstage, Mobo Awards backstage & Escape from Scorpion Island to name a few. He can currently be heard co-hosting the Radio 1 Request & Chart shows with Fearne Cotton on Saturday & Sunday's from 4-7pm. Reggie is also an accomplished actor, he appeared in the third series of Dr Who & is filming a new drama for ITV2 called Trinity at present.

Stephen Mulhern biography:

Stephen is firmly established as one of the most popular young television presenters in the business. He started his career presenting the smash hit television shows Holly & Stephen's Saturday Showdown & Tricky TV.  After stepping away from children's TV he is best known for shows such as Britain's Got More Talent and more recently Animals, Kids & Athletes Do The Funniest Things.  He also toured the country this year as the host of the sell out tour Britain's Got Talent and is now getting ready to film six more of the 'Do The Funniest shows' for ITV1.
