RDFR SIGNS HOST OF FORMAT DEALS AND SALES FOR THE SECRET MILLIONAIRE

RDF Rights, part of the RDF Media Group is delighted to announce it has secured format deals for the hit Channel 4 show to several key territories which are due to go into production later this year.

Broadcasters to pick up the format include Nine Network in Australia and a commercial broadcaster in Canada. Teve for VTM in Belgium, Endemol in Italy, and OnTV in Spain have also taken on The Secret Millionaire format. TV2 in Denmark aired their local version earlier this year.

In addition, RDFR has secured finished programme sales of the first three series to a multitude of territories. All three series have been picked up by Living Channel (New Zealand), XYZ Entertainment (Australia), Noga Communications (Israel) and Canwest (Canada). BBC Worldwide Channels has also taken the three series to air on BBC Knowledge in Asia, Poland and South Africa, and on BBC Entertainment in Latin America. YLE in Finland and NRK in Norway have also been successfully transmitting UK and US Series.

The Secret Millionaire, currently in its fourth series on Channel 4 has achieved ratings of over 5 million viewers with a share of 21% and is due to return to Channel 4 later this year.
