RDFR secures international sales for Yo Gabba Gabba!

RDF Rights (RDFR), part of the RDF Media Group is delighted to announce that Yo Gabba Gabba! has been acquired by several key territories internationally.


The BAFTA-winning live-action series produced by the Magic Store and W!ildbrain is currently airing in the UK on Channel 4, with part two of the second series due to premier on Nick Jr in November. Series 3 is scheduled to arrive on Nick Jr in 2010.


Series 3 (13 x 20’) has been picked up by Disney Latin America and Treehouse TV in Canada. ATV for Hong Kong and Mediacorp in Singapore for Okto Channel have also taken series one and two.


RDFR has sold Yo Gabba Gabba! to more than ten major international territories. Deals include sales to major broadcasters such as ABC Australia, Nick Australia, Nickelodeon Asia and Hop! TV in Israel.

Channel 4’s acquisition of the show for its T4 strand in the spring proved a huge success for the brand, as licensing deals with Bravado International for adult apparel and The Creative Cake Company to develop a range of celebration cakes were added to the raft of existing UK licensees, who include Simon & Schuster (books) and Egmont UK Ltd (annuals) and Portico designs (Stationery, paper engineered products and keyrings). E1 Entertainment is also on board to produce a Yo Gabba Gabba! DVD which will be launched this month.
