RDFR secures further international sales for thrilling Firecracker series, Daredevils

RDF Rights (RDFR), part of the RDF Media Group is pleased to confirm a raft of international sales for Daredevils, a 4 x 60’ series produced by Firecracker Films for Channel 4.

In the US, Discovery has acquired the four part series for Animal Planet, and RDFR has also negotiated a satellite and cable window for Discovery EMEA. Terrestrial deals have been secured in Australia, Japan, Norway and TVN Poland, and cable and satellite sales have been concluded with VTM in Belgium, LAPTV in Latin America, Globosat in Brazil, DBS Israel and Multicanal Odisea for Spain and Portugal.

The series shadows one daredevil in each episode: to cross one of the world’s highest canyons on an inch-wide rope with no safety harness; to run a marathon in sub zero temperatures 200 miles north of the Arctic Circle; and to fly down the face of the Matterhorn in a winged Teflon suit. The fourth film sees the return of free-climber Alain Robert as he attempts to scale the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur.  The original film, The Human Spider sold to several international territories including BBC America, CBC Newsworld, RTL French-speaking Belgium and VTM Belgium.
