RDFR sells Wife Swap to Discovery

RDF Rights (RDFR) part of the RDF Media Group, is delighted to announce it has struck a deal with Discovery Networks UK for 100 hours of RDF Television’s award winning series Wife Swap. This acquisition will be shown on the lifestyle channel Discovery Real Time.

This will be the first time Wife Swap airs outside the Channel4 portfolio of channels, making Discovery the secondary home of Wife Swap in the UK. Wife Swap will feature on Discovery Real Time later this year.

The series originally aired on Channel4 in the UK where it enjoyed a long and successful run, with audiences peaking at over 6 million. Internationally, Wife Swap continues to go from strength to strength, with a weekly primetime slot on the ABC Network in America and the format now sold to more than 70 countries worldwide.

RDFR holds international rights to the programmes and format.
